After many years of resistance, I've finally caved and got a cell phone. It's a Motorola RAZR V3 (left). Not sure where this thing stacks up against the rest of the pack, but one thing is certain: the V3 runs a pokey Java virtual machine that makes surfing the web at 14.4 kbps over a noisy phone line seem like heaven by comparison.

Note that my now having a cell phone does not change in any way the fact that I abhor these annoying little devices (this goes double when coupled with driving an SUV).
