It's taken three visits by Charter to finally resolve these cable modem problems. Here is the "secret" data that they won't tell you about as obtained by a little program I wrote to periodically poll my cable modem for some interesting statistics (this is downstream data). Most of customer service there won't even give out the IP address to access these statistics. Have they not heard of something called the Internet?
Both of the above were taken by polling every 15 seconds. We'll see how this data looks over a more extended time period.
