28x: no minors allowed.

heading into the city to kick chad's b-day celebration off at the e&o trading company. that's jason hill at the wheel. he needs a new hair color. suggestions?
phil 'i love leavenworth street' buonadonna. ask him for directions sometime. :)
entering the walu-less e&o trading company. once inside, jay, our waiter, casually started calling me by my first name without me even telling him it. that was bizarre. no idea how the hell he knew that.
a member of the original 467 crew, chad yoshikawa. if you look closely on his shirt, you may be able to see what size he wears. heh!
taking you back to the old school! spam and pam, i.e., tony chan and lok liu.
chad invading ngeci's eating space. he can do that. they're married. (or is it the other way around?)
that's probably jay behind the camera. oh boy. left to right: lok, jason, phil, chad, ngeci, matt, me, and tao.
up close with tony chan. he drives the same car as jason. a newer model i'm assuming.
chad 'no picture id' yoshikawa. that night, he drank like a thirsty camel (!), like a 21-year-old who'd never had a drop of pre-legal alchohol, like the high schoolers that used to crash jason hill's fraternity parties (ok, i can't really confirm that), ... see pictures below for details.
growing up in ohio then spending four years in pittsburgh at cmu (gee, i feel like i'm writing his bio or something) have helped to mold chad into a drinking machine! when you drink with friends like this, damn! you'd better have a high tolerance!
chad and ngeci, who organized this entire event. chad wears an xl shirt in case you haven't figured it out by now.
tony and lok loving the fact that my digital camera is operational again! kodak claims it was just bad batteries but i don't believe them. oh well, it's fixed, so . . .
28x.
getting ready to hit some bars in north beach. we tried to be very la and drive but people wouldn't go for it. so we walked and that was weird.
a familiar scene. chad's attempt to verbally convince the guy carding that he really was over 21 was unsuccessful, so . . .
off we went, switching back to underage mode.
the combination of large amounts of neon, ubiquitous north beach sleaze, and lack of drinks was driving tony insane. they should sell north beach postcards with this picture on it. it captures the scene oh so well.
so we pressed on.
being the sober person that i am, i fought hard to convince people to chill out at the adler museum cafe. :)
but i was corrupted.
that's probably drink number five for chad at this point. matt's pupil's look rather dilated as well.
even tao was getting in on the drinking action! tao with her tequila shot.
chad had two so that's probably seven now.
getting friendly with the monster bong.
tao showing off her cute outfit. ask her about her good husband emails sometime. quite entertaining.
eight, nine, . . .
matt being very important with his cell phone.
seriously messed up! this picture is the best . . .
severe intoxication.
wow... bad cat and cheesebitch were here. i know them!
before internet chatrooms and the red light district that is 90% of the web, there were walls.
i think i'll stick to a career in computer science.
matt's ready for vc land. as rich martin would say: "yeah, no more of this grad school stuff."
no idea who took this picture. probably me, la la la . . .
phil was loving this. just like the good ol' days. oh, and for people reading this, don't believe phil's story about our plane trip and the 24-year-old (or whatever she was) p.e. teacher from san diego. all lies i tell you! :)
oh the stories were flowing tonight! i definitely ta'd the wrong class! click here to see where it all began . . . for more than just one ta, but that's a different story.
phil looking quite pleased after telling his twisted (! :) version of the now infamous san diego plane trip story.
an emphatic jason hill telling an outrageous story of an undergrad's lies and deception that stirred up memories of cs267-af (she'll probably hunt me down now, hopefully katz's restraining order will last until i graduate)! he made her cry. i can't believe it. heh . . . :)
more of that story. it was pretty unbelievable.
some of my beverages.
picture of the roof. *yawn*
ngeci.
jason, chad.
matt's seriously buzzed now. chad is drunk. probably time to go before he gets carded and they realize that he is underage! hahahah....
our journey back to the car.
walking. something new for jason hill and i. ok, maybe just me.
lok (or 'loke' if you like :), who now works at broadvision. thought you'd like to know that.
one of my cool camera angles. i learned this in my photography class. it was well worth it, don't you think?
'he's the drunk one'. luckily for us, there were no 70mph, streaming chunks spraying a silver audi a4, highlights, honking, and windshield wiper episodes tonight. however, we are going to space 550 for le freak at the end of this month so you never know.
ngeci doing something i'm familiar with. the key difference is that my payments usually get stuffed into lime green envelopes.
phil resisting!
tao, heading back to the dreaded east bay. please convince her to come with us to atlantis.
