umbrellas are hard to find when it's not raining, but when it does rain, tons of shops put them out on the street. here, i picked up a clear "lost in translation" umbrella for sandy for just 300 yen (under $3 usd)!

laforet shopping complex in harajuku. this building features an immense amount of clothes, jewelry, shoes, hangbags, and other accessories for young fashion-conscious japanese girls (ko-gyaru).
it's big and even features "half floors".
girl who works at ba-tsu, the first store that i shopped at (not for me!). she was extremely helpful and even tried things on for me! :D
