urban wasteland: ubiquitous shopping in singapore.

ghetto pseudo tour guide quest's end *yawn* greeness & the golf club

one of singapore's many hawker centers! chomp, chomp!!!
cheryl, whose name i am certainly misspelling, being uncooperative with the camera.
little fact: cosmopolitan is banned in singapore. however, there is a black market where one can obtain such contraband!
the food here was incredible. as usual, i left the ordering to the experts.
fred is probably salivating right now. fish cheek!! haha..
random creatures from the sea.
forget innovative names, it's all about the food.
chin and cheryl. blurry, yes, but it's the only shot i have. do not click here!
abigail.
singapore is to cats as thailand is to dogs and elephants.
chin preparing to gulp down a sugar cane drink. awfully popular in singapore.
oh geez, i had originally planned to try and keep track of all the food i ate so i could write useful captions, but after i started eating, that was quickly forgotten.
another useless caption. assistance, anyone?
more cheap food in singapore. we wanted fried scorpians but had to settle for this stuff. ah well. haha...
at long last, the elusive stingray!!
checking its bone structure.
simply amazing.
rain in singapore comes unexpectedly and in large quantities. a brief downpour forced us inside. i stayed out as long as i could under the protection of my ridiculous turquoise umbrella.
makeshift table.
chomp, chomp indeed!
more of that. and no, i did not take this picture to take a picture of this girl's back if that's what you were thinking.
cheryl's pal ______ (fill in the blank, please). she studied psychology at sf state. i think chin could use her assistance, especially with respect to relationship matters. haha..
another person whose name i have forgotten.
the sugar cane person.
end to end service.
i asked for the huuuuuge sugar cane drink and got it! here, i use abi for scale.
after dinner, we cruised over to the singapore night safari, a nighttime zoo that you explore on a tram with cutesy girls providing random animal facts over the speakers.
hey, i'm a foz!! friend of the zoo!!
not nearly enough to battle the humidity.
his camera had night vision. my dc240 does not.
me, getting ready to see random animals such as lions, tigers, deer, rhinos, and bats!
you would not believe how meaningful this award really is. bathrooms were toxic!
i think they should start having patterns on phones. for example, manga characters.
coke!? nooooo!!
we checked out the fishing cats. they were pathetic. i'm surprised they're not extinct by now given their dismal hunting skills! it was fun seeing them get wet all the time though. haha..
a sneaky shot of nothing in particular.
once again: chomp, chomp!
