| while on our quest to find
the hi fi, we
stumbled on a number of "interesting" places such as this one where
a private party was being held. we were stunned to learn that we were not
invited!
| find the hi fi we did, but enter
we could not. here, we see the doorman sporting
luke perry like
sideburns and trying to hit on some girl. i think he got dissed.
| the actual joint itself. we didn't
stop there. |
| instead, we headed off to
the comet club
where the bartenders are wannabe
universe dancers
and electric margaritas were not included in the bartender's curriculum.
| they tried though. check out the
screaming red table! |
eric fraser looking very festive
at our rendevous point.
| while sipping our free first
round of drinks, we also exercised our engineering skills. |
fred wong and company outside
the comet club. he has his own domain name: fredwong.com.
| inside what i believe is the hi
fi. |
a shot of the crowd and the dance floor from matt "george" massie's
perspective.
| grooving to the beats of
a subpar dj. i made a request for 'sssst' by jonah. bnc: "can you play
'sssst'?". dj: "what?". bnc: 'sssst!' dj "what?". bnc: "SSSST! dj:
"what??". repeat as necessary.

| we all know what he is smiling
about. he'll have to do something about that other guy though. |
| after talking over the noise,
we decided to stroll on over to
left at albuquerque
for some high quality tequila.
| matt welsh entering the
establishment. there's either a cigarette i can't see or matt is
experiencing the hallucinogenic effects of some mind-altering substance.
| oh baby! i really wish i hadn't
been so trashed at this point. |
| matt massie, eric fraser, and
jason "aep" hill. jason
and i had some tequila shots, the last of which ultimately led to my doom.
bad, bad, bad!
| yet another piece of san
francisco covered. |
| jason hill looking awfully
interested in something that i surely don't remember. |
| eric fraser, jason hill, and
matt massie converging on the alchohol. |
"sometimes i dream, that he is me, you've got to see that's how i dream
to be . . ."
| matt welsh and jason hill at
the controls of the jukebox. |
| what was actually played is
a piece of knowledge that remained inaccessible to me as my brain
was read-only at this point. |
| capturing the moment, an anonymous
photographer takes a crisp, vibrant shot of george and eric. |
